Sandro Tuzzo

Sandro has been helping families involved in the legal system almost exclusively since he graduated from law school in 2000. Recently, Mr. Tuzzo was recognized as a "Rising Star" in the 2009 edition of the Northern California Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Tuzzo graduated magna cum laude in Psychology from The University of California at Davis. He later served as an associate editor of The West/Northwest Environmental Law Journal while completing his juris doctorate at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. While completing his law degree, Mr. Tuzzo held summer positions with the District Attorney and the California Office of the Attorney General, where he managed complex trial preparation for cases in both criminal and administrative law. Mr. Tuzzo established his own practice in 2002, specializing in family and juvenile law. Mr. Tuzzo has also spent considerable periods of time working with some of the leading family law firms both in San Francisco and on the peninsula.

In addition to significant litigation experience, Mr. Tuzzo has extensive training and experience in the field of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Tuzzo is an Adjunct Professor at U.C. Hastings College of the Law, where he teaches Negotiation and Settlement. Having completed trainings at Hastings, The Center for Mediation in Law, the Northern California Mediation Center, Community Boards, as well as several local bar associations, Mr. Tuzzo serves as a certified mediator for the San Francisco Bar Association and Community Boards of San Francisco. Mr. Tuzzo was a Sloan Fellow at the Center for Mediation in Law in Mill Valley, California where he worked on advanced mediation technique with other distinguished mediators and trainers in the field.
